Map View in MC Kinetic

Use the map in MC Kinetic to find assets and work orders, and to identify where technicians need to go.

Prerequisites

The asset or work order must have a location with latitude and longitude coordinates to display on the map. Enter this information in one of the following ways:

• In the main application, enter the latitude and longitude in the Asset Details page.

• In MC Kinetic, select a work order location in the map.

Select a work order location

1. Open a work order workbench.

2. Find and open a work order.

3. Expand Location.

4. In the map view, tap Edit location.

5. To zoom in, pinch two or more fingers together and spread them apart.

6. To zoom out, pinch two or more fingers together on the screen.

7. Long-press a location on the map.

   The pin appears on the map.

Open the map view

1. Open a work order workbench.

2. Tap Map.

   The map view opens.

3. To zoom in, pinch out or tap Zoom in.

4. To zoom out, pinch in or tap Zoom out.

5. Tap My location to center the map on your current location.

6. Tap a pin to view its associated Work Order ID.
