Clone Project Plan

You can clone project plans in the event a new plan has similar attributes to an existing plan.

The system performs the following actions when cloning a project plan:

• Creates a new project plan with a Project Plan ID comprised of the original plan's ID, followed by an incremental number.

• Copies the project plan details and any defined procedures.

Clone a project plan:

1. Access the project plan you want to clone.

2. Click Clone.

   A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

3. Click Yes.

   Maintenance Connection clones the record and displays the new record on the page. The new record will have a Project Plan ID that matches the cloned record, with the addition of an incremental number. The name of the new project plan will be the same as the cloned one.

4. Make your changes.

5. Click Save.
